Splash Cochin Bantam chickens for sale are a beautiful choice for backyard flock owners who want a small, fluffy breed with gentle personality, unique coloring, and family-friendly charm. These attractive bantams are known for their soft white feathers splashed with black spots, giving each bird a fun and eye-catching appearance.

Splash Cochin Bantams are extremely calm and easygoing, making them a wonderful option for families, children, and backyard chicken keepers who want pet-like birds. Their small size and tolerance for confinement also make them a great fit for coops with limited space. Because of their calm temperament and fluffy appearance, they are also popular for exhibition.

The Splash variety of Cochin Bantams was recognized by the American Poultry Association Standard of Perfection in 2014. Their unique splash coloring comes from breeding two Blue Cochin Bantams together, which can result in about one-third of the chicks being splash.

Because Splash Cochin Bantams do not move quickly, they should be kept in a secure coop or protected run to help guard against predators. Their dense feathering gives them good protection in cold weather, especially when they have dry shelter and proper care.

If you are looking for bantam chickens for sale, Splash Cochin Bantams are a charming way to add softness, color, and sweet personality to your backyard flock. For a larger version with a similar look, see the Splash Cochin Standard.
